School Food For All.

Over 80,000 students across Waterloo Region can access food from our programs while at school. Nutrition for Learning programs are universally accessible, meaning food is available to all students, without having to self-identify or prove a need.

Meal Program

Our core nutrition program ensures our school partners have an in-class or in-school nutrition hub where students can access a nutritious variety of foods. Each meal features a fresh produce, protein, and whole grain to provide students the energy they need to get through their school day.

For many students accessing Nutrition for Learning food at school, this is often the most nutritious food this student will have all day. Students are offered food from three food groups (fruit/vegetable, dairy/protein, and grain) to ensure they have access to proper nutrition while at school.
